Models and Simulators for Commercial und Technical Applications and Processes

PACE is a widely used object-oriented development and simulation system based on attributed hierarchical Petri nets with time and fuzzy logics modeling. It can be used for commercial as well as for technical modeling und simulation problems. The program runs on all MS-Windows-Systems and some UNIX systems. In addition to that PACE with its many unique possibilities is a didactically very valuable tool and is therefore used by many university institutes, technical colleges, schools for continued education and development divisions of renowned companies

The multitude of very different application areas for which PACE simulators have been developed show the comprehensive application spectrum. Here are some examples:

  • Resource planning and resource allocation in logistics applications.

  • Specification, simulation and optimization of automation systems, among other for suppliers of the car and paper industry.

  • Analysis and Optimization of transport equipment.

  • Simulation of traffic processes during the planning and optimization of satellite towns.

  • Simulation of paintshops.

  • Planning of flexible production plants for the car industry

  • Modeling and simulation of an aluminum factory.

  • Development of simulation environments to test programs in a development environment or before the target hardware was available.

  • Modeling, planning and optimization of chemical plants.

  • Development and optimization of a processor structure to handle online image processing.

  • Modeling, simulation and optimization of a sun collector fabrication street.

  • Luggage distribution in a large European airport.

  • Modeling, simulation and result analysis of order processing in banks, assurances and public services.

  • Modeling and optimization of a paving-stone production.

    etc.

Problem definitions from these and further application areas can be analyzed, modeled, simulated, visualized and optimized with an adequate, comparatively low time expenditure. By the simulation, in which a simplified data model of the environment can be easily incorporated, it is among other things possible to uncover the general feasibility, the runtime performance, system bottlenecks or functional mistakes through experiments with the simulator system, without influencing the behaviour of the real system, that is without its having be changed for that or without its having even to be stopped.

  • Technology tested in research and industry internationally for 15 years

  • Realistic simulation of arbitrary processes

  • Automatic process optimization
